Your new patient appointment steps

Step 1

When you arrive for your first appointment, we warmly welcome you and offer you a beverage to help you feel at home while you wait on our comfortable chairs. To help us tailor your care to your individual needs, we ask you to fill out a few forms, giving us information about your previous dental experiences and medical conditions.

Step 2

We invite you into one of our cutting-edge consultation rooms to begin your new patient examination. The extensive assessment helps us to find out as much as possible about your mouth. We look at each tooth individually, checking for signs of decay, and examine your gums, looking for any plaque or gum disease. We take a complimentary iTero scan to help create your bespoke treatment plan and also carry out an oral cancer screening.

Step 3

We believe in clear, comprehensive communication. During your consultation, we’ll explain all findings in detail, using advanced technology like intraoral cameras to show you exactly what’s happening in your mouth. We also leverage Pearl AI for more accurate X-ray diagnoses, ensuring you’re fully informed about any required treatment.

Step 4

Should you require further dental treatment, we’ll develop a bespoke plan, explaining it thoroughly. Our Treatment Coordinator will then assist you in scheduling appointments with our dentists, hygienists, or in-house specialists at your convenience. They can also discuss payment plans and financing options. To support your ongoing oral health, we’ll also provide tailored advice on effective home hygiene routines.

How do I find a dentist appointment near me in central London?

Where is your dental practice located, and how do I get there?

We are centrally located in Grape Street, Covent Garden, a short walk from both Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road underground stations. Our dental practice is very well served by public transport. We’re happy to help you – simply call us if you need us.

How do I know which treatment to go for?

Don’t worry if you don’t know which treatment to go for – that is where we come in! During your consultation, we show you digital pictures and x-rays of your mouth, so you fully understand the need for treatment. We then explain all the treatment options available to you, and formulate a treatment plan based on the one that best suits your needs and preferences.

Will my dentist take x-rays?

Sometimes, your dentist will need to take x-rays of your mouth. They will assess whether or not x-rays are necessary for your case, and make sure you are suitable for this. We use digital radiography, meaning the images are instantly available to view and allowing us to point out anything of note directly to you. Digital x-rays have the added advantage of requiring less radiographic exposure, a plus point for many patients.
